Climbing Competitions are one of our favorites community events at Shasta Rock Club. Whether you're an SRC member, frequent visitor, or first-time guest, these energy-filled nights are the perfect setting to climb hard, meet new people, attempt freshly-set routes, and maybe even go home with a prize.

Participants choose to compete in either our beginner, intermediate, or advanced division. Competitions begin with a brief overview of gym safety, competition rules, and explanation of scorecards. Participants are then free to climb for the determined time limit before scorecards are collected, tallied, and prizes awarded. Our night often ends with a beloved Dyno-Competition - an entertaining finale.
