This 2 hour session will show you what it means to climb outside. We'll set up a top-rope anchor indoors and have you experience what it's like to climb on a rope and how to belay your climbing partner. You'll get a list of what to buy, the pros and cons of different types of gear, and how to check and retire your gear. We'll take a look at the top climbing spots in Northern California and how to find where the climbs are. We hope that this class inspires you to join us for our full-day outdoor climbing clinic, and transitions you to the outdoors while keeping you safe. Rock on!

All High School Students are welcome to join us for a night of climbing and pizza! We will be announcing the details for the High School Climbing League as well. Youth under 18 must have a parent sign the waiver if it's your first time. Please sign waiver prior to the event. Thank you!

Monday, September 11 at 6-9pm
Cost: $15 Members // Guest: $20

Competitors will have 2 hours to climb as many routes as possible. SRC will provide pizza and drinks! You won't want to miss this super fun and friendly climbing competition. There will be prizes for 1st place in Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced divisions.
